SasserRemovalTool.exe

Microsoft teams have confirmed that the Sasser worm (W32.Sasser.A and its variants) is currently circulating on the Internet. To protect your computer against Sasser and its variants, do the following:
Step 1: Enable a Firewall
Step 2: Install the Required Update. To help protect your computer against the Sasser worm and its variants, you must first download and install Windows security updates. Use your "Windows Update" feature.
Step 3: Automatically Check For and Remove Sasser. You can use this tool to search your hard disk for and try to remove Sasser.A, Sasser.B, Sasser.C, Sasser.D, Sasser.E, and Sasser.F. To do so, click SasserRemovalTool.exe.

Important To use this tool, you must be running Windows XP or Windows 2000, and you must have already installed the update released with
Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-011.

W32.Klez.gen@mm is a mass-mailing worm that will send itself to all email addresses in the Microsoft Outlook Address Book. The worm may include a virus that will destroy all files on the 13th of March and September. Computers that are infected with W32.Klez.gen@mm have most likely been exposed to either W32.Klez.E@mm or W32.Klez.H@mm. If your computer is detected as infected with W32.Klez.gen@mm, download and run the tool. In most case, the tool will be able to remove the infection.
